Everything in life and death has form

Collage on canvas.

Acrylic, wax forms, music paper, leaf skeletons, ink and lava paste

61 x 51 x 2cm

A new set of paintings/drawings, all postcard size, some more intricate than others, many ‘blind continuous line drawings’, which are good fun to do.  More to follow.

This is the first painting I have done for ages.  It has been a psychological struggle but today, after a long time, I picked up a paintbrush and finished a painting that has been sitting on my easel since the end of May 2009!! So pleased it is done.

Acrylic on ply board

Acrylic on canvas.  This started off as a bright yellow banana! unfortunately it didn’t turn out right so I changed it.  I thought this one worked better.  Yellow banana to follow some other time.

Kite surfers on the beach in Tarifa, Spain – the most southerly tip of Spain, about 40 mins drive from Gibralta.

This piece was a mad idea that popped into my head early one morning as I was heading up to London.  There was a guy on the train carrying his guitar and I was wishing I was on the beach somewhere, the sun must have been shining! anyway, my crazy brain put the two together, so here it is.
